Paul Branham

Born in Arkansas, Paul spent much of his life in Kentucky before moving west in 1989. His work career was in electronics and telecommunications, but his real love and passion is working with clay and watercolor, which he pursues daily since retiring in 2021. Mostly self-taught, he contributes his interest and love for watercolor (which began in the early ‘70s) to his Aunt Sandi, who encouraged him to take his first and only watercolor class. His work in pottery began in the early 2000’s.

“I paint in watercolor to validate places we have seen and create pleasing art to express my love for God’s creation. As a potter, I want to create functional pottery for everyone to enjoy in daily use.”
